A number of multi-sport events take place in and
around Henley over the summer and autumn.
Henley half marathon
and the
Standard 10km
will take place on Sunday,
October 8.
About 2,000 people take part in the races, which
are organised by the Rotary Club of Henley
Bridge and begin and end at Borlase Field, next
to Henley Rugby Club.

Henley Triathlon
takes place in June and
has been going nine years.
The event comprises a 400m swim in the pool at
Henley leisure centre followed by a 25km or
12.5km cycle ride and then a 2.5km or 5km run.
The run takes place in the grounds of Gillotts
School while the cycle ride goes along Greys
Road towards Rotherfield Greys before joining
the B481 to Peppard and towards Sonning
Common. It returns to the school via Blounts
Court Road and Devil’s Hill. The next triathlon
will take place in June 10, 2018.

which is in its seventh year.

Tough Mudder
, known as “the world’s toughest
obstacle course”, takes place on the Culden Faw
Estate at Fawley in April and May.
This is one of a series of events for hardcore
competitors who require strength, stamina and
determination to complete the 12-mile course.

Great Escape
is a role play and obstacle
challenge where competitors are part on an elite
team that have to rescue a downed pilot, avoid
the enemy and end up back in home territory. It
also takes place at the Culden Faw Estate.

Henley Highwayman
is a duathlon,
which take places over a weekend in September
and consists of a cycle ride of up to 180km and a
run of up to 25km.

Kenton Theatre
in New Street is the fourth
oldest working theatre in the country and is
largely run by volunteers. It is a Regency gem
with a warm, friendly and cosy atmosphere. The
